velvety BUTTON BROOCH in navy and gold
I'm really pleased with these little brooches, which are made from the most gorgeous navy and gold striped fabric. The blue stripes are deep soft and velvety to the touch, The gold stripes are like a sort of hessian weave.
I've attached a vintage button which features an anchor device, and stitched a brooch pin on the back. It's all hand-stitched, and charmingly rustic-looking! The button says 'canal de vieux' and is beautifully aged.
It was inspired by military medals and the like, and will look great on any lapel or cardigan. Perfect for winter! Or as a little gift (for yourself?!)
