SALE! This is an original mixed media painting on canvas. Acrylic, pen, and matte medium on gallery wrapped canvas.
It looks like an encaustic piece, but it is actually acrylic and the build up of matte medium. I love this piece. Its a portrait of a little girl in a swim cap...ready for a dip in the pool.
This small canvas adds a pop of color to your desk at the office or hang multiple pieces on the wall for a different look. It does come ready to hang. 5x5 inches.
Signed and dated on back. 2007. This piece is currently on SALE, trying to clear out some inventory. This piece was originally $65, but I have reduced the price to $25.
There is a lot of texture in this piece due to the application of matte medium. The process is done in layers that are built up in certain areas to bring more depth and physical texture to the piece. This one in particular has a weight to it because of all the layers.
