Punctured Paper Lampshade - Grey Scales design
Light is critical to our well being, but we take it for granted. We are scared of the dark, and yet most sensually aware of the world when we can't see it. Most of the time a lamp simply creates light to stave off the dark. My lamps and shades play with light, reawakening our awareness of it and the joy we find when the light breaks through the dark. Yet they don't go flat when light surrounds them. Their textured surfaces are as intriguing in full sunlight as their pinholes of light are at night.
The holes are individually handpunched to create the embossed effect and openings. Each pattern is unique and "painted with pins" to create this special effect.
-Lampshade dimensions are 8.5" high by 8" wide.
-Clip top wire allows for this shade to either attach to a hanging bulb or a standing based bulb.
-Recommended use with a standard 40 Watt bulb max. (not included)
-Actual color is a light metallic grey as represented in the close up "unlit" picture.
