Leather hare silhouette in vintage frame
The next piece in the leather animal silhouettes collection.
This adorable picture features a silhouette of a hare, cut by my fair hand from dark brown leather with a scalpel. It is sitting on a background of yummy brown card, and decorated with a handcut-border in blue wallpaper pattern.
The frame is a vintage one from a charity (thrift!) shop. I've cleaned it up but it does show signs of its age and wear - which adds to the charm, methinks.
It's ready to hang as soon as you open the package. There's a picture wire on the back.
This would look great in your home on its own or as part of a picture wall (would make a cute house-warming or holiday gift, too).
